Buffet Attendant

Department: Food & Beverage

2 Full-time or 4 part-time positions; varying shifts including weekends.

This position is responsible buffet set-up, stocking, and serving at our buffet. Must have knowledge of buffet items, their placement, and labeling of buffet items. Keeps all areas of the buffet, equipment, and floor, clean and presentable. Keep food items stocked and looking presentable at all times and at required temperatures. Possess and maintain safe-serv food handling certificate; document any waste created by the buffet line. Must have previous customer service skills and experience and have good attendance.

C-Store Clerk

Department: Convenience Store

1 Full-time Position. Rotating shifts, including weekends & holidays

Clerks provide assistance to customers and handle various duties such as operating the cash register, greeting customers, helping people locate products, doing paperwork, stocking shelves, and maintaining the store clean and organized. Position requires clerk to be on their feet most of shift. Previous cash handling and balance experience preferred.

Café Cook

Department: Food & Beverage

3 Full-time postions. Varying shifts.

Responsible for preparing food to be served in the Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort’s Prairie Tap House Café; complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production procedures. The cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud. When necessary, the Café Cook will assist the Café Prep/Cashier in prepping and assembling short orders for guests, and may possibly perform point of sales duties. Capability of being a strong team player is a must. Experience and/or knowledge in Micros is helpful in order to perform point of sales duties.

Café Prep/Cashier

Department: Food & Beverage

3 Full-time positions. Varying shifts.

Responsible for the timely preparation and exhibition assembly of fresh quality food products in Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort’s Prairie Tap House Café. Assembles prepared food items according to guest’s instruction in front of guests complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food assembling and prepping procedures. Assists cook in stocking of food items. Must have previous customer service experience, be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. A Café Cashier/Prep crew member should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Capability of being a strong team player is a must. Experience and/or knowledge in Micros is helpful in order to perform point of sales duties.

Cage Cashier

Department: Cage/Vault

1 Full-time position. Varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsible for the exchange  of cash, coin, chips, tito’s, checks and tokens with guests and employees. Previous cash handling experiences a plus; must be able to stand for most of shift and be able to left up to 25 lbs.

Cage/Vault Manager

Department: Management

1 Full-time position.

Responsible for management and supervision of the Cage and Floor Cashier Departments (oversee approximately 30 -35 employees). Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; scheduling employee shifts; enforcing and following all casino policies and procedures including specific departmental procedures. Responsible to develop, maintain and keep good records pertaining to departmental budget, personnel records, inventory, etc. Investigates and resolves all offage’s, and other incidents as they arise. Preferred applicant will have a one-year certificate from college or technical school in finance management or three to six months of related experience and/or training.
